In 2016, father and son Navy veterans Bob and Jeff Werby set up a single Chemex bar in an underground office in Virginia Beach. What began as morning coffee for teammates quickly turned into obsessive inquiries: Why does harvest altitude shape berry acidity? How does wash processing reveal clean sweetness?

The Nano-Craft
We roast in disciplined small batches right here in Virginia Beach. No commodity warehouse aging. Every lot is roasted to order and date-stamped on the lid.
